Description: This is an image of just a portion of a roadway of standing trees known locally as `The Dark Hedges` which are near to a village called Stranocum in Co.Antrim, Northern Ireland. They have stood there now for centuries but have been pruned over the years for safety reasons as this road is used daily by pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
